Holiday Performance at Stanford Mall

Written by Simran Sandhu ’18

On Friday, December 11th, the Music for the Community club gave a festive performance at Stanford Shopping Center to raise money for the Music in the Schools Foundation. Simran Sandhu ‘18 started it off with a cello solo, and her performance was followed by performances from Kaitlin Rhee ‘18 and Dana Abbo ‘19 on flute, Rosie Crisman ‘16 on violin, Kareena Sandhu ‘20 on cello, Kusha Gupta ‘17 on sitar, and singing performances by Dana and Lexi Bundy ‘19! Many of the pieces were holiday themed and very festive! Our audience was engaged and enjoyed our music on this Friday evening. We hope to continue raising money for the Music in the Schools Foundation, and we very much enjoyed this holiday performance!

Enjoy pictures from the performance below (click on an image to see the full size), and stay tuned for more blog posts about upcoming MFTC events! We are excited to be organizing performances at the Veterans’ Continuous Living Community in Menlo Park and at Stanford Hospital (as well as a return to Rosener House on February 24th).
