Greenhouse Workshop- Day Two

On day two of the Greenhouse Workshop the three teams presented their ideas and designs for the Castilleja Greenhouse. Students were asked to consider how their design could be incorporated into the Jhumki Garden and whether or not it would fit all of the requirements. The Freshman group came up with the idea of a light-bulbed themed Greenhouse with a fence and even a tree with light bulb ornaments. Oh the Holiday Spirit! The 6th Grade Group thought about growing herbs out of a hanging bottle and possibly plants inside of old shoes. Another group considered creating their Greenhouse out of CD cases!  As a Senior, it has been nice to see how younger students can collaborate and support each other between grades. The final design for a Greenhouse was incorporated ideas from all of the groups. We can all look forward to Day 3 where actual production begins!
