Casti Alumnae can help you engage with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

Commencement Day is only the beginning of a lifelong commitment to ACE!  Alum Natasha von Kaeppler has “circled” back to Casti to share her commitment to CASA and offer the Castilleja community a chance to support the organization.

WHY?

CASA mentors and speaks for the 240,000 abused and neglected children who have been temporarily placed under the supervision of the court system for their own safety. CASA pairs individual children with trained volunteers who represent them in court and support them through an arduous court process, ensuring that each child will grow up in a healthy, safe, and loving environment. HOW?

Ever been to the annual Bay Area race, Bay2Breakers? Well if you have or haven’t, now is your chance to participate in the local version, Theta Breakers! It’s a 5 or 10K run/walk with members of the Stanford community, including athletes, students, faculty and Stanford supporters, around Stanford’s campus. Some crazy race AND raffle prizes are up for grabs, like Stanford football and basketball tickets and apparel, dinner for 2 at Piperade in SF, a make-over party worth $500 at Sephora, signed sports goods from the Sports Gallery, and Sprinkles gift certificates, just to name a few.

WHEN?

Come join Castilleja Alum and member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Natasha von Kaeppler, on October 7th for the 27th annual Theta Breakers! Whether it’s the company you enjoy, the prizes you receive or the reward of the spirit of giving, everyone wins!
